Sub-processor List
This list covers Proxara: the connector for AI assistants, the client record, approved actions, the admin console and Windows Redact. A sub-processor is a third party that Proxara engages and that processes Customer Data on Proxara’s behalf.
Current sub-processors
| Sub-processor | What it does for Proxara | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Azure) | Hosts each firm’s application and PostgreSQL database, the sign-in service, the GPU that runs the model, storage, the container registry and the email service that sends staff invitations | United States (East US and Central US regions) |
Not sub-processors
These parties come up in reviews. None of them processes Customer Data on Proxara’s behalf.
- The redaction model’s publisher. The model is open-weight software, currently from Google’s Gemma family, that Proxara runs on its own Azure GPU. Google does not receive files, results or any other Customer Data.
- The firm’s AI assistant. Claude, or any other assistant the firm connects, receives the results its users ask for through the connector, with recognized names and identifiers replaced by codes, and whatever an employee types or attaches in it. The assistant is the firm’s own vendor, under the firm’s own terms with that provider.
- The firm’s systems. Microsoft 365, Karbon and CCH Axcess are the firm’s own vendors. Proxara reads from them and acts in them under the consent and keys the firm gives, and they process nothing on Proxara’s behalf.
- Slack. Slack is used only if the firm installs the Proxara app into its own Slack workspace. It then receives operational counts, source status and reported Windows user labels, never document contents, file names, protected values or tags. The workspace and its terms are the firm’s own.
- Google Analytics. The public website uses Google Analytics only after a visitor accepts it in the consent bar. It is not part of the product. See the Cookie Policy.
Changes
Proxara will give notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor that processes Customer Data. The notice period and the way a firm can object are set in the Data Processing Addendum and the Order Form.
