This Cookie Policy explains how Proxara, Inc. (“Proxara,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Proxara Redact pages at redact.proxara.ai/redact and their documentation (the “Site”). The Proxara Redact Windows application does not use browser cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. “Session” cookies are deleted when you close your browser. “Persistent” cookies stay for a set period or until you delete them.
2. Cookies we use
2.1 Essential cookies
The Site does not currently set essential cookies. It works without cookies.
2.2 Analytics cookies
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand how visitors use it. GA4 loads only after you accept analytics in the consent notice. No GA4 script runs and nothing is sent to Google before you choose. Advertising signals stay off even after you accept, because the Site runs no advertising. When you accept, GA4 sets these cookies:

2.3 Other technologies
The Site does not use retargeting pixels, fingerprinting, heatmaps, session recording or social media tracking pixels.
3. Browser storage
The Site uses your browser’s storage (not cookies) for a few conveniences. This data stays in your browser and is not sent to Proxara or anyone else.

The Site may also keep your scroll position in session storage so the back button returns you to the same place.
4. Your choices
4.1 On the Site
The Site shows a consent notice on your first visit. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose to allow analytics. Declining keeps the Site fully working with no analytics. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the Site footer.
4.2 In your browser
You can block and delete cookies in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies, or Delete browsing data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
4.3 Google Analytics opt-out

5. Third-party cookies
No third party other than Google Analytics, as described above, sets cookies on the Site. Proxara does not take part in ad networks or cross-site tracking.
