Why we build this.
An accounting firm runs on four or five systems that never talk to each other: Karbon, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, CCH. The only place it all joins up is in people’s heads, and in the Monday meeting where the partners go through every open job.
So nobody knows, at any moment, where each of six hundred clients stands. Every status is typed by hand, and preparers spend their days carrying information from one system to the next.
Everyone now has an assistant that is good at exactly that work, and a careful firm will not let it near client names and Social Security numbers. So it sits unused, or people paste client data into it quietly.
We build the back office that knows where everything stands and does the routine work. It watches the systems the firm already has, keeps one true picture of every client, and when something arrives it does the next step: a bank statement into the month’s books, a notice into a job someone owns, a missing document chased. Then it asks a person.
Two things it will not do. It will not send a client’s name out of the firm: the assistant gets a code in its place, and the real name comes back only to the screen of the person who asked. And it will not change a record or send an email on its own: a person approves each one, and each one leaves a receipt.
It runs in the firm’s own environment in Microsoft Azure, with the firm’s own keys. Claude is the reasoning engine inside it, the way Postgres is the database inside it, reached through Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot because that is where the staff already are. We build it for accounting and tax firms and for nobody else.
